A website dedicated to the sweeter things in life. My name is Fabio and I am a passionate home baker. I hope I can inspire you to bake more at home instead of buying over processed desserts at a grocery store. I want my recipes to be as simple and pure as possible.
My videos are short tutorials on how to make delicious desserts. I keep them simple, but still capture the beauty of food and how much fun and easy baking is.
Why the name Little Swiss Baker
I am originally from Switzerland but I am currently living in Canada. I love cooking, but I have realized that I am probably a better baker. As a little child, I was always interested in baking and helped my mother until I started baking on my own. The recipes on my blog will be a mix of baked goods inspired from all over the world.
Favourite Desserts
I love pies, cakes and cookies. My favourite desserts are apple pie, red velvet cake and my mother’s tiramisu and vermicelle (a famous dessert from Switzerland made of pureed chestnuts).
What is a Yummy?
A Yummy is a very simple, short and easy treat. It only requires a few ingredients and can be made in a few minutes. For example:
- specialty coffees
- specialty teas
- smoothies
- simple desserts
When I’m not baking, you will find me reading a book. I get a lot of inspiration from my travels. I love to explore new countries and cities, and of course trying new food.
